The health, economic, and social impacts of COVID-19 have had far-reaching negative consequences for all segments of our population, with a disproportionate impact on the most vulnerable. Connecticut, a hot spot early in the pandemic, has shown a remarkable turnaround since April, currently maintaining a positivity rate below 1% - far less than the national average - and becoming a leader in containing the spread. As devastating as COVID has been, it has also resulted in unexpected positive outcomes due to an abrupt shift to new work and social environments that have forced us to innovate in order to survive and thrive.
